“Jacaranda Blooms”

Description from Dawn O: It's the time of year here that the Jacaranda trees are in full glorious purple flower, attracting butterflies and nesting birds. I wanted to design a necklace that would give an impression of the beauty of such a sight.

OK, I Goolged the Jacaranda tree and it is gorgeous!!!! Your pick conveys the colors perfectly! It said it grows in South Africa, Southern California, and Florida. Do you live in one of those areas? :-)

Sorry I didn’t check back sooner – I blogged about the Jacaranda tree (found in many places but I’m most familiar with it from the Los Angeles area). You can see the post at http://beadedbadgelanyards.blo.....riday.html where I also talked about using the Fresh Pick feature. Today I’m finally posting about my finished necklace (see attached picture)
