Description from Elis Mom: When I was a little girl, my Grandmother bought me a jewelry box made of black laquered wood and inlaid with abalone shells.The drawers had a red velvet lining. Very Oriental looking. It even had a stamped tin locking mechanism similar to a padlock. I still have the box, but the lock doesn't work anymore, so I am hoping to use it as a pendant in an upcoming project.

Elis Mom says:That really would be some pendant! Guess that sentence isn’t really clear…I was hoping to attach the Asian Frame to the padlock to make the pendant. The padlock is tin with the image of a crane stamped onto it.
