Description from Classy Chick JbyJill: This is my rendition of A. Golke's That's Me... I was born in Jan., a New Year's baby. My hair is shades of caramel; my eyes are hazel. I consider myself a "girly-girl"; I guess that's why I love to design jewelry! My faith is very important in my life. Purple is always been my favorite color, although I don't make many purple designs.... I must start everyday with a cup of coffee (with many refills to get me through the day!!). My cats are my feline companions, one black and cuddly and one white, who is very independent. The create charm represents my love of creating beautiful pieces. The Aquamarine represents my husband of almost 15 years! I wear mostly browns and blacks that are beautifully represented in the Brioche Agate, which has become one of my favorite stones as of late. The tree represents the children I teach everyday in my daytime career.

Anita QoG Funny Chick says:Jill, I LOVE IT!!! It’s nice to know alittle more about each other….It makes our comments more meaningful…I really like your picks!!! And it’s fun to have some real give & take!!???!!!!!

Classy Chick JbyJill says:Thanks! You are right it is nice to get to know a little more about each other. This was fun, but I found this to be the hardest of all of my picks to put together?!?!?!! Go figure!! Thanks for the great idea. I hope others will choose picks to represent themselves:)

Anita QoG Funny Chick says:I’m saving them in my favorites!!! I think it’s always hard to try to do something that truly involves discribing oneself……………

Classy Chick JbyJill says:Great idea! I added yours and Run With Sibes:)

Science Chick Runs Sibes says:Love your self-in-stones. I bet this would make a dynamic design. It’s a combo that on first glance might seen odd, but on further study it pops. I’ve added both your and AGolke’s picks to my faves. Kevin, etal. should provide us with subfolders in our favorites files so we can have a Meet the Beaders folder that we can scan.
As AGolke said, this was a difficult assignment…there were sixteen spaces to fill with stones/charms that told an autobio study. But, it was great fun!
JbyJ–what do you teach? From you picks here, I’d be willing to bet that you are very creative in the classroom.

Anita QoG Funny Chick says:Hi, again, Now that we did ourselves, do you notice that in most of the jewelry that you make, there’s just naturaly alittle of you in them [AT LEAST THE ONES THAT WERE EASY TO PUT TOGETHER] I realized that the ones that were hardest for me to make, were the ones that were totally not me!!!!!!!! By the way, I make & teach jewelry making for a living……I have a small bead shop in a Community Art Center. [GREAT JOB]

Classy Chick JbyJill says:Thanks…I teach elementary gifted students grades 1-6. This is my second year in this postion. I have taught for 15 years in grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. My current position allows me to focus on student interests and needs. They are truly a unique bunch of kids:) Pretty creative themselves……
