Smoky chick, your comments about forwarding your payroll to L.B. made me laugh, makes me think of being at certain places that induce ya to open up your wallet and throw $$$ – I worked at an independent bookstore in Seattle years ago when I was freshly in town, between thanksgiving and X-mas, as a seasonal gift wrapper, the store gave us a 40% discount on ANY purchases – how sweet and clever, they knew we would just turn around and give much of our meager paychecks right back to them!!! imagine if we got to work seasonally at L.B. and got some similar (or any) discounts eh???
