I feel for her as I had a similar situation with my mother 20 years ago when it was Soviet Union yet...
I am very heart heavy... We did not have an opportunity to meet her parents even yet..

Smoky Rose says:I know, that’s not the answer you wanted – and you know from losing your mom that nothing but nothing can ease the pain. My coworker lost her dad (from same cancer, same hospital) a couple months before mine passed. When she returned to work, I made the mistake of not talking to her about it – I thought, look at her, smiling, looking very pretty and put togeter, I don’t want to talk to her about it and upset her. Well – not long after, when my dad passed, I learned that it’s always right there – right at the top of your head – the tip of your tongue, if you’re looking and acting pulled together or not – Ah, Deep Regrets Pick – there again, I learned – I learned the hard way. While she was efficient at work and looking fantastic – she was hurting terrribly. I’m sure, especially with your daughter-in-law’s family being so far away, that you will offer great warmth and support. I can tell you’re a very warm and caring lady – generous of spirit.
