Description from Chicky Red-haired Grammy: We held the memorial celebration and after-party for my mother last Saturday and it was wonderful... she would have loved it. Much music and stories and only a few tears. A Great Day. She always painted lilacs in the spring and we still had some blooming and a large bouquet at the celebration.

Chicky Red-haired Grammy says:Thank you, ladies, for your kind thoughts and words. Mom died in December 2010 so it has been a long 6 months before our celebration of her life. Rather than being a difficult day, it was a great day – much fun was had by all. This being the final chapter, however, the reality of her death has finally hit. It has been a tough few weeks. I miss her.
