Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Aaawwwww….Siamese are so cute! Do you have a new litter?

Smoky Rose says:Thanks Elaine! and Hi!
I wish!!!! – not to take away from my 3 lovely ‘furry children’ – but, sure, I’d love a litter of Siamese. I had one when I was younger. Michelle. We pronouced it: Mee-shell. She was lanky and elegant, but still a sweetheart!

D D Mystic Chick says:Had a Siamese cat growing up… she was my favorite feline! Nice pick, love the browns with the touch of blue.

Smoky Rose says:Thanks DD! I know, they get the worst wrap for being full of themselves… I guess all cats do – but they’re great!
Must have cats!

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Michelle ~ what a great name for a siamese with the play on words. We had a siamese-cross when we were first married. We named him Boots because of his dark feet. At that time too we had a kitten by the name of Mitts because he had three extra toes on both of his front paws, so when he stood, it looked like he was wearing mitts with big thumbs. Very strange looking but a very loving, cuddly kitten!

Smoky Rose says:oh, poor little baby! could he walk well enough?
One of my ‘kids’ now is a tabby-mix. We swear, as does the vet, that she has Abysinian or Siamese blood in her – again, very long and lanky, thin as can be, big ears – and funny you mention about the toes – long toes!
I think my dad may have named Michelle – the idea being an elegant French dame.

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Actually, there was no problem at all with that kitten; he had no trouble walking. It seems to me that I read somewhere something about a certain breed of cat that had that sort of thing with it’s paws but I can’t remember what it was now. I remember that he LOVED shrimp from a can. He would crawl right down your throat after it…if you let him!
Abysinians are beautiful too!

Smoky Rose says:My husband crashed early last night, so I actually made myself a tuna sandwich and doritos for supper (yeah, I work in healthcare – well, I’m human) anyway – you know, the sound of the can opener can be audible from all corners of the house, to a cat – needless to say, we shared….

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Oh yeah, we had a dog that came to the sound of a beer can being opened (in fact my picture is of Alex). He loved beer; he never got very much though, just a taste every now and then!!

Smoky Rose says:too funny!
we had a cat who loved green olives – had another that loved corn cobs – cake icing – this one little girl I have now loves potato salad (Philly style, mayo + chives)…. they’re funny beings!
