Description from Regina v: The large round labradorite beads are a deep translucent olive green with blue flashes. They remind me of the ocean - up here where it's colder and grayer than carribean blue. Combined with abalone (same color family and more iridescent) and other "flashy" dark and neutral rounds they make an interesting necklace. Keeping the colors subdued makes it easier to play with sizes and shapes for an elegant look - not too busy. I'll post pics.

Regina v says:Here are some necklaces – ideas for this pick. There are some substitions because sometimes the beads sell out. You can see my “assistant” moving in to help in one of the picks (the white fuzzy paws, poised to steal a necklace). She is very good at picking beads and findings (and bringing pliers back to the cat bed), but has yet to make a necklace. If I post her picks at some point, maybe somebody can nudge her along with some suggestions.
