Moonshine? A bit strong even for SuperBowl weekend. Wouldn’t a keg of beer be better? Oh!!! Not THAT kind of moonshine! ;)

LOVE these colors. Everything makes the Gaea bundle even more desirable! :)

LOL. Thanks Chickies. I loved the gaea bundle & working on what works with it. The strongest drink I can indulge in is Coca Cola. No ‘moonshine’ for me. ;-)

Dont’t know that booze? But this pick is gorgeous and you are funny :D

Frida, ‘moonshine’ is a ‘homemade’ powerfully strong liquor–usually distilled frim corn (or other things readily available). During the American great depression & esp during the time of (liquor) prohibition, folks made this booze in stills which were hidden from outsiders..esp the ‘revenuers’ who were the authorities charged w ridding America of this unlawful practice. Young men, in fast cars were ‘runners’ who would deliver the booze frim the country stills to the big city. Quite a wild segment of America ‘s history. ;-) . The funny thing is, there are folks who are still making it today.

    Frida says:

Ahhaaaa!! People still distillate here too. It’s prohibited… We call it “hembränt” if I translate it it will be like “homeburnt” :)
The name moon shine is’t due to that they had to work in the dark?

Frida, yes, to your question on the word ‘moonshine’ derived from hidden/clandestined night work. See article on Wikipedia.
