LG Designs says:I like this one too…I’ve never ordered sunstone…I’ve always been drawn to it but then I think it may be too dull..what is your opinion?

ChickyD aka Debra says:I just got some sunstone last week. I bought a 1/2 strand of the 6 mm round. I had to look at the packaging slip to figure out what those stones were. There must be a VERY intensley colored string going through them. Of course,mine, being a 1/2 strand were loose and had no string. I’ll see if I can take a pick. I won’t be able to do it until tomorrow, though. Getting home LATE tonight. I still want those sunstone tumbled nuggets, though.

Maybe some is dyed, but the examples in my gem book were of AA grade, faceted and set in gold jewelry. That was a very rich looking sort of deep colored stone.
I like this pick, and saved it to Favs.
