All is fresh, new, silent, except for songbirds. Earth appears an optimistic promise in the face of an anxious world of political and financial instability. Who could fathom that this "jewel" could some distant day disappear? Fragile is she, absolutely, but never more gorgeous than at this tenuous moment in morning hues.
