Description from J Yee smart chick: Here's another one for the infamous Mr. Toad of Toad Hall - he loves sports cars, and has a bright red one -
his friends, Rat, Mole and Badger ask him to give up driving his sports car, as he tends to get into accidents - toad agrees, and his friends think that is it... until toad takes a walk one day, in the countryside, and comes across a lovely red sports car that belongs to a family having lunch at a tavern... :)

Chicky Red, in answer to your question, I first learned of the adventures of Mr. Toad and his friends because one of my elementary school teachers read “Wind in the Willows” to us daily, in sections –
I hadn’t remembered Toad’s escapades with his beloved bright red sports car, nor the troubles he gets into, when he decides to just “borrow” someone else’s lovely red sports car for a little while, but reading this version with fab illustrations is bringing back the saga, it’s so fun…
