Chicky Bear-Tara says:Here are pictures of the jewelry and my cat, Ringo.
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:14 pm #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Beautiful, Tara — both the necklace set and Ringo!!!
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:19 pm #
Chicky Bear-Tara says:Thank you Lynn. Ringo the cat is the one who wakes me up at all hours by pushing my hand with his cold wet nose. If he doesn’t get petted then, he meows his low gruff meow and finds something that makes noise and crinkles it until I squirt him with the water sprayer or throw a shoe at him. He is the biggest brat! But, he is beautiful.

Chicky Bear-Tara says:These two are Peanut and Puck. They are brothers. Peanut is the little one, but the dominant male in our family.

Classy Chick JbyJill says:What handsome kitties you have!! There is just something about a cat that I just adore… Does your cat get a drink from the tub every day? My cats love to be around running water. They are both intrigued by it!!
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:32 pm #
Chicky Bear-Tara says:They all three climb into the tub even though they get fresh water every day. Ringo and Puck both will lap the water straight out of the faucet…just a tiny stream…Peanut waits for the water to get turned off and then drinks from any left over by the drain. They are so fun to watch. They run when the water is turned on for a shower though!

Chicky Bear-Tara says:Do you have pictures of your cats Jill?
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:40 pm #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:I have two kids, I mean cats…. Flip and Oliver!! I see if I can find a picture
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:43 pm #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:Flip is black and white.
Oliver is white with one blue eye and one green!!
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:45 pm #
Southern Chick says:Well are these two the stars of the house! I just read about a study that was done and it says that cats really do rule their owners…Well DUH! Like we needed a study for that one!
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:48 pm #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:Oliver will actually walk into the downstairs shower with my husband. LOL He always smells clean! That must be why he doesn’t think he needs to groom himself!! LOL He fur is so thick and long, and he doesn’t groom himself so he gets so matted up. Last year we had to take him to the vet to get his belly and back side shaved!! He looked so funny!! We thought his hair would never grow back…. low and behold it did, pretty dog-gone quickly too!!
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:48 pm #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:Yes, they certainly do!!!!!!!!!!!
On Jul 14, 2009 at 11:58 pm #
Little Round Chick says:Dogs have family. Cats have staff. I’m sure everyone who has ever had a cat knows this. I did a fresh pick a few months ago for “My Calico Cat.” She was a real pistol. Ran the house, bossed the other cats and kept the dog in line. Her name was Rosebud but it probably should have been Rosethorn.

Classy Chick JbyJill says:Haha!! You are so right.
On Jul 15, 2009 at 10:08 am #
Chicky Bear-Tara says:Very beautiful cats Jill. They do rule us. They get the pick of spots on the bed…all three of them! They get fed when they want. They get their toilet (litter box) flushed and toys, catnip, whatever they want. They are so spoiled but I love them. Jill, my mother-in-law, Norma Jean, found a kitten that was only a few weeks old. The kitten hadn’t been taught how to groom itself and so, Norma would take it to the sink and wash her with a wash cloth. The kitten got used to the sound of the water and pretty soon, she would hop up on the counter whenever the water was running in the sink and get under the water and groom herself. Norma finally found a home for the kitten with some friends of theirs, and to this day, that cat loves water, grooms herself with water from the sink, takes baths…. It is so cute!

Classy Chick JbyJill says:That is an adorable story!! I have wanted another cat for some time now… I think it is kind of like one you want another child LOL…. Anyway, our neighbors found a kitten and it followed them home. They keep it outside and it sleeps in an old birds nest up in a tree!!!! They really are not interested in keeping it. My husband texted me this morning to check with the neighbors to see if they are going to get rid of the kitty. I was really surprised because he has been the one who hasn’t wanted another one…… Anyway, we’ll see………

Milli aka Big Kitty says:I have my three feline boys, one canine boy, and a host of foster kittens that I don’t have pics of yet. I love my cats! (Love the dog too, but, you know…)
On Jul 15, 2009 at 11:07 am #
Kitty Chicky Cat says:Cool pick! Love the Jewelry! And that’s quite a handsome pride of furry gentlemen you have there!
Ringo sounds just like my furry baby! He gives me forehead kisses along the hairline, demands his food in the mornings by walking all over me, meowing, scream yowling, and pawing my face (ever so gently). Sometimes he scratches the floor because he knows I don’t like it and he won’t stop till I get out of bed. He just dodges the flying pillows and goes right on scratching. If he’s really determined he’ll get up on the dresser and knock things off! But he really is a sweetie! he’s such a good boy most of the rest of the time!
On Jul 15, 2009 at 11:40 am #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:Milli~ Are these kitties on your table????????? It never fails, when my mother-in-law comes over one of my kitties jumps up on the table!!!!! LOL
On Jul 15, 2009 at 11:41 am #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:Gets up on the dresser and knocks things off……………..I can’t imagine!! HEHE My Oliver does that too!!!!!!!!!!
On Jul 15, 2009 at 2:29 pm #
Milli aka Big Kitty says:I gave up on keeping them off the table; the best I hope for is keeping them off the countertops in the kitchen! *chuckle*
On Jul 15, 2009 at 2:33 pm #
Chicky Bear-Tara says:I love all these stories and pictures. Milli what beautiful cats you have. I love your light brown tabby. Our cat Peanut is the one who sleeps around my head in the winter. He paws my face, gives me little love nips on my eyebrow or chin, shares my pillow. He is the dominant male, although Ringo thinks he is, and is the smallest. He is the one with the white chest. He has all the people in the vets office scared to death of him because he yowls, hisses, bites. It’s hilarious!
On Jul 15, 2009 at 2:38 pm #
Milli aka Big Kitty says:The smallest adult cat in my house at the moment is Miss Hissy, and she has all the boys terrified. When she comes out of the kitten’s room, three cats and a dog take cover, it’s SO funny to see them scramble away from her. Mu has got to be around 20 pounds, and so is Garfield; Benny is the “runt” at 15 pounds and Miss Hissy probably weighs 8 pounds, ROFL!
On Jul 15, 2009 at 2:38 pm #
Milli aka Big Kitty says:It goes to show that it’s not the size of the body, but the size of the will!
On Jul 15, 2009 at 2:50 pm #
Chicky Bear-Tara says:Yep…the smallest have the biggest personalities a lot of times.
On Jul 15, 2009 at 3:00 pm #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:LOL Ringo sounds like Flip!! She thinks she is the dominant, but it is evident to us she def. is NOT!! She hissed and carries on like crazy and Oliver could care less!!! He doesn’t pay any attention!! Flip is terrible at the vet too!! She does everything that you said Ringo does at the vet….She even has that RED DOT!!!!! LOL By the way she is the smallest!!
On Jul 15, 2009 at 3:02 pm #
Classy Chick JbyJill says:Milli, that is funny!! That Miss Hissy is so tiny and has that much power!!
