Description from Julie Shane: My sky blue agate arrived yesterday. It is SO SO pretty. Yep, the transparent lucite flowers are adorable. You know I have crystals in every size.
So here's my "problem"... I have all these teals sitting on my bead table staring at me. I just can't decide what to do next. Do I add shiny silver findings? Or do I use rustic silver and pewter?

I wish I had your problem of too many beads – want to trade? I would go with the shinny silver to which I am partial. It always makes things sparkle no matter what color you use. Good Luck – can’t wait to see the final project!

Laud says:I bought the agates, too, and am still not sure how I’ll use them. Which metal to use depends on your vision. I think the rustic would add warmth, whereas the bright silver would be cooler, more elegant. Personally, I may go with antique gold or copper. *shrugs* So many choices!

I prefer shiny silver when I’m using chain and I’m going for a simple look. Rustic metals look good with lots of danglys and drops and different stones/colors. And least that’s what I like when I’m googling jewelry and just looking at the pics.
