Happy Chick aka Harriet says:Sorry to hear Rhi has breathinng problems. My own asthma and allergy problems showed up when I was about 5. I sort of outgrew the asthma for a while in my 20′s but it’s back now. That is why I whined so about having the bronchitis recently, a most unpleasant complication on top of everything else.:-(
I’ll say a prayer that Rhi is one of the fortunate ones who outgrows her problems for keeps!

Happy chick, I sure relate to your comments about breathing and asthma, asthma tends to run in my dad’s family – he, my youngest brother and I have all had it and learned to adjust to living with it… I too outgrew asthma for many years but have been learning to manage again after it returned about 10 years ago… the new maintenance inhalers are wonderful for helping to keep asthma under control.

I know what you mean about the family history thing w/ asthma. We can trace ours back through my paternal family, to Daddy’s mother’s brother. It’s present in every generation of my family since then.
Some have it worse than others, but no one wants it!
