Oh I envy you. I would love to get a female doxy again and breed again. Hubby Ted says no. We had 4 litters and then vet said get Mommy Tiffany spayed because more than 4 litters brings a good chance for breast cancer. I ended up keeping one pup from all but one litter, so Ted says no.

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:I used to joke it isn’t house breaking puppy but the owner instead. Our babies were nearly all done with house breaking when they left at 8 weeks. We had a 6×4 birthing box blankets at one end and wee pads at the other. Next step wee pads all around the box up to the gate, until we took down the gate from the den and the next was at the back door. Rule #1 what goes in puppy’s mouth goes almost immediately out the other end until their bladder enlarges to hold it. Oh my have a good time, I know it is cold there. That’s the only good thing about being in Florida. I am a little warmer.

Lynn, Misha has NOT come out of the basement yet – I carried her upstairs while Cookie was sleeping and made her sniff Cookie – she arched, hissed, and launched herself out of my arms. You’d think she could handle training another pup – after all, she had to train Bandit!

Probably will quit breeding though I still have a waiting list of people wanting puppies from me. It’s been a long twelve years of breeding. Have fun with your new pup, I keep coming back to look at her pic…looks like a GS pup without a tail LOL hard to see the other breed in her, wonder if her ears will come up like a regular GS pup?? 
got one 4 month old here that has a cone head ears (naturally at the moment). Keep us updated!
