Thanks, chickies! I’m driving to McKinney (northeast of Dallas) tomorrow to visit a dear friend. She’ll take me to the Dallas airport Sat. Then it’s just a short hop to New Orleans where, yes indeedy, it will be hot. But, hey, I live where it’s hot. I’ve been to New Orleans a couple of times pre-Katrina and had a blast. I’ve driven through/around it a couple of times post-Katrina, and it’s really sad. At one time, everything was just dark. No lights at night. Just really sad….
