The ones I have found are,
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Hot Peppers of all kinds
Green and Red bell peppers
Onions
Garlic
Eggplant

Does anyone know of other nightshade plants to add?

    I did not know all those foods could trigger it. Do you have Fibromyalgia? That’s too bad because all of those foods are so good for you except maybe pototoes! Great pick. Very colorful!

    Thanks for your comment on my pick.
    Yes, I do have Fibromyalgia. Had a really bad flare up 4th of July weekend and wondered if maybe my diet was part of that. Found out the nightshade family is a big culprit and there are other triggers as well, such as sugar, caffeine, wheat, Aspertame/saccharine, and lots of others. Elimatinated a lot of these things (and feel a lot better now too) and now going to start reintroducing them one by one to see which ones are my triggers.

    very interesting! I’m going to have to pass this info on to my friend who also suffers from fibromyalgia. Most of those foods are staples in his diet.

    Some of the one I found are: ground cherries, tomatillos, huckleberries, pimentos, paprika, cayenne, and tabasco sauce.

    I hope you stay feeling better. I read that the night shade veggies and fruits help with cheese digestion, processing salt. I could not imaging not having these in my diet. I’m so sorry that they bother you.
