NY Bella says:Deb,I have a friend who loves her squirrels and a father-in-law who trained a squirrel to eat out of his hand. But, my husband almost had a fire in his car engine when squirrels gnawed through some wires. My sister thought she had been burglarized when she walked into her house one night. It seems a squirrel had entered through a vent in the roof and couldn’t find his way out. He made a mess of the house; destroying things,etc. Animal control had to be called and $250 later was captured in the basement wall. Of course, he was released into the woods and hopefully led a productive life! As you see, squirrels and I are not best friends! But, I’ll concede that the GG squirrel is cute!

Granny Chick aka Nancy says:Ah… but so cute to look at… I had a chipmunk in my kitchen cupboard one time. Scared the living daylights out of me when I opened the cupboard door and there he was staring at me. Long story short he was caught and released. We lived in the woods.
Anyway, I am madly in love with this pick. I have a bunch of genuine emerald beads and haven’t done much with them. But I do have some tree agate and white agate so…

Thanks for the love! We used to watch them launch themselves into the snow from our 2nd story deck when I was a kid. My dad fed birds and also the you-know-who’s who helped themselves. Dad would open the deck door and the squirrels could tell this was one angry man. Instead of climbing down, they would just leap off and land in the snow with a big snow explosion. We all hopes they figured out that they shouldn’t be doing that in summer.

The result was me dreaming of a squirell coming into our home gnawing on everything and if remember right that inculded us. After that when I saw a squirell I asked my parents to go lock the door and they better lock the door for reindeers and other animals because you never know
