“October's Jewels”

Description from Granny Nancy: There is quite a variety of gems that can be used as October birth stones. The most popular is beautiful opal or a type of fire opal. But I do love Peruvian Blue Opal and there's also Pink Opal.

The gems were impossible to represent accurately so I went with color and a bit of silver. I found a gorgeous pink tourmaline. Pink tourmaline, made up as a clear and faceted stone, can be magnificent as a birthstone or even an engagement ring.

Pretty. A gal can never have enough opals. I have a Peruvian opal teardrop and it’s a nice stone to wear.
