Description from OK Jacki: Winds gusting to 50 mph & near drought conditions in OK have wildfires popping up everywhere. Power lines are coming down. At sunset, there is a hauntingly beautiful but terrifying sky--with the brilliant glare of the sun, mixed w hazy grey to near black and the smell of smoke. Prayers for firefighters and residents.

OK Jacki says:Thanks all. Winds not quite so high today but still very dangerous (only 25-30 mph). YUK! 100% chance of Rain tomorrow. Can’t come soon enough. Becky, we are in ‘Green Country’ just East of Tulsa in BA. We have a daughter & family who live almost exactly where you described in SE OKC. OK is a great place to live (except for the occassional tornado & wild fires).
