I think I,am close an ancient symbol depiting a snake or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle.Love the beads and a great title for this one Ivy.

Hi Ivy, what a fascinating, earthy and mysterious Pick, the deep rustic greens and brass are FABULOUS together, wow!!! So who is Ouroboros??? :)

Thank you, chickies! Yes, Alice, you’re right, what I know of Ouroboros is that it’s an ancient symbol of a serpent swallowing it’s own tail. It symbolizes the never ending cycle of birth/death/rebirth. He’s often considered the serpent of creation and different aspects of him are found in cultures all over the world.

Very intrequing pick! The greens are SO fabulous together! (Sorry if I misspelled “intrequing” I get my Spanish vowels mixed up with my Southern drawl!)
