Secondly, it’s not quite 10:00 a.m. in Texas so the first thought that came to mind was a song by Sapphire and the Uppity Blues Women called “Cold Pizza and Warm Beer”…song about breakfast after a pretty wild party.
Next….what do I like on my pizza…roasted garlic, sauteed mushrooms, artichoke hearts, fresh basil, and arugula. Put the arugula on AFTER it comes out of the oven. My favorite Italian place/market in Austin makes a pizza like this, and it’s delicious!

CAS says:Oh, and LOTS AND LOTS of chesse! At home I’ll put mozzarella, chedder and feta on my pizza. Feta is especially good with spinich, sun-dried tomatos, and black olives (which I also LOVE on pizzas).

I like plain cheese (light on the cheese); BBQ chicken pizza made with BBQ sauce instead of tomato sauce, shredded grilled chicken, & moz. cheese; Greek pizza; veggie pizzas without onions or green peppers.
