Description from Luv2bead - Little Chick: Some of you may remember that my sister's hamster, Marbles, died recently. Well yesterday there was a large bag with no name on it. After everyone had opened their presents mom said that bag was for my sister. She opened it up to find a cage with an adorable Fancy Hamster in it. She's a peachy color with 3 or 4 white spots. Mom said they'd had her for a week and we didn't even know (they must have had a good hiding place)!!! Oh and I almost forgot, mom and dad named her Peaches. What a PERFECT name!!! No other name could suit her better. I'll attach some pictures!

Peaches is an adorable little hamster. Can you tell yet if it is a boy or a girl?
My son had a hamster when he was in second grade his science teacher asked could Greg take him to school. They got a female for him and the kids all took turns taking them home over the weekends.
Science teacher built a maze for them and they used to have hamster races. It was a fun project for them that year. I am sure Georgie was a very happy boy.

Peaches is reminding me of how much I LOVED hamsters! I now have a guinea pig…which is huge compared to Peaches. I remember my last hamster, Black Beauty, had 5 babies (who all survived) two weeks after we got her!!!!!!!!!!

My kids had hamsters and a guinea pig too. The guinea pig used to squeek kissy noises every time he heard the refridgerator door open or close. When Dawn grew up she bought a fancy minature bunny named him Chappie for Charlie Chaplin. He looked like he had a mustache. He was white and black. He stood on his hind legs and hissed at me one day when I tried to help her capture him. He lived in a cage in the house. I think he knew I was afraid of those sharp front teeth.

When my daughter was younger, she had hamsters, opossums, gerbils, and even a white rat — all of which were very sweet!
