Being a teacher, I see many sad cases… Many times the kids just need lovin’. This year, I have come to understand a new term, “container children”… As young babies they are not given the opportunity to explore, play on the floor, and build those core muscles because they are contained in something…. car seat, jumper, playpen. Consequently they need to have occupational therapy because their muscles are weak. Just another form of neglect

I once had a child in class who wasn’t allowed to keep his toothbrush in the bathroom with his foster siblings’ toothbrushes. It was so obvious that he was treated differently that it broke your heart.
