Description from Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick: It's that time of year again. On Friday my class wrote their observations of 5 different kinds of pumpkins. This morning, I spent several hours cooking them. I plan to make pumpkin bread and soup tomorrow. Plus I'll bring some plain pumpkin in on Monday for the kids to taste.

I’ve never made pumpkin soup before, but I have had it at restaurants. I’m thinking about southwest pumpkin soup in the crock pot.
