About 4 lbs fresh peaches
sugar-
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
juice & rind of 1 lemon
Peel, & crush peaches, cook over low heat till soft.
Strain.
Measure the pulp and add 1/2 cup sugar per 1 cup of pulp.
add spices, juice & lemon rind
pour into heat proof container
bake @ 300 degrees, check occasionally to desired thickness.
ladel into sterliized canning jars.
