Elizabeth Taylor

I tried doing a pick with a color I don't really like. You can see there isn't much of it in the pick, but I did try.......

I’m not very much for pink either, but you put many strong elements with it so it is not overwhelming :D

Love the pink elements with the gunmetal!

I’m not a pink person either, but I like what you’ve done here. The pink is subtle and really works nicely with the textured blacks. :)

I really seriously dislike pink. The first piece of jewelry I ever sold was a pink necklace. One of my friends who’s a jeweler says that working with a color they dislike is one of her first assignments to her students.

Mad you’ve done a really great job of balancing it with the string blacks. Good work!

Pink is a definite love/hate color, but it always works with black and white–especially the beads and components you have combined it with! YUM!

Just the right amount of pink!

Thanks guys! The encouragement is appreciated! It’s really hard to judge the merit of a combination when you’re not fond of one of the elements. I may have to attempt something like this in real life. Thanks again!

MKK-Was really interested in hearing about the jeweler and her class. I can see why she does that!
