“Prayer Feather Pipe Smoke”

Description from Vampire Chickie Ravin: To explain this pick. The Lakota (Souix) people believe that when you smoke the Sacred Pipe (in the proper way, offering the pipe first to all four directions, then to the earth & sky), and use a feather to wave the smoke to the skies, to Wakan Tatanka and White Buffalo Calf woman, the feather will then carry your prayers to them, much like praying through a personal/guardian Angel. The stones I chose for their smokey swirls and patterns, also the smokey, and tobacco like colors. The lava stone reminds me of the coal taken from the central fire to light the pipe, and I see the feather hanging down from the angel wings as a pendant for the piece. Hope that is a decent enough description. I'm trying to keep busy to help with pain control. Otherwise my hubby'll make me go to the hospital and I'll have to get shots and such. Yuck! =(
