Oh, we loved that song when our kids were small, and they knew all the words. My sister had to make up a new last verse because it made her youngest so sad to think of Puff all alone.

I loved Peter, Paul and Mary’s songs when I was growing up too, and of all their songs this one is still one of my absolute favs – never knew it was thought to be about drugs – just thought it was a whimsical fairy tale song, LOL!
