Faithful Chick aka Faith says:Not so cute as your normal picks although I think the little bat is sort of cute. You know the naturalist build bat houses to encourage bats because they actually eat insects. Bats are not nearly as scary as the movies make them out to be however I am not terribly fond of them myself. I think you would likely be attacked by a bird out to protect their young like the mocking birds that live in our shrubs and the neighbors tree. They swoop at us every summer. Sometimes they even grab at the neighborhood cats and my dogs. One nearly got my husband a couple months ago.

Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Bats are so totally cool, years ago I rescued a baby cave bat, who had a broken wing. His wing healed wonderfully, but he didn’t wanna go back to the caves, he wanted to stay a pet, lol. We named him Guano, cuz whenever someone he didn’t like came into the apartment, he’d fly over their head and, erm, well….gauno on them, lol, he was a hoot!

Luv2bead - Little Chick says:Thanks!!! I have a huge history research project coming up. Also, I’m not sure if I should do it and then enter it into the NHD (I don’t know too much about it, but there will be prizes, including cash…so I’m kinda thinking MORE BEADS LOL)! I can either do a 8 page research paper, exhibit, or website, along with a few other things. I’m leaning towards the website. Also I want a partner but I’m too afraid to ask anyone (I hope someone asks me)!!! I’m not even sure when it’s due!!

Leigh D says:Eeewww – History, not my favorite subject, but ya gotta do what you gotta do. I would jump on anything that would not require me to write a paper – so go for the website if you like this idea. And since you have to do the work you might as well enter it – if you do win something then even better!!!

Luv2bead - Little Chick says:I totally agree Leigh! If I didn’t already have to do it I wouldn’t enter it, but since I do, well might as well! I’d love to win something!
