Thanks Mary S! Angeline, I would love to put up some pics of my stuff too but unfortunately I have a less-than-state-of-the-art camera and close ups are NOT an option. lol All you would see is blur. So when I finally get a good camera I will put some pics up. In the meantime I get to enjoy looking at everyone else’s pieces!

One thing I miss about my house is all the WILD blackberry and raspberry bushes in the yard. I would go out to pick some, and end up eating them before I got back to the house. Absolutely the best when still slightly dewy but warmed by the sun, yummy, yummy, yummy.

Oh my God, yes, I used to LOOOOVE picking wild raspberries when I was little. I would come home with a basket full of plump, dark little raspberries (delicious!!) stained hands, and a red mouth. lol

Wild raspberries are my favorite berry.
We still have some growing on our property but its darn hard to get them before the birds do. We almost have to pick them a little before they are fully ripe or we don’t get any.
The exception to that was the year of the “17 year cicadas”. The birds were so busy eating the bugs, they never payed any attention to the berries. I picked a lot that year put some in the freezer for later. I guess there is good in everything, even a bug invasion!
