Love this Ivy! (you know I’m a sucker for reds) It does remind me of the rocks around Sedona, you’ve captured them quite nicely. :D

Hi, Rainbow Chick! It must’ve been an amazing sight there. A lot of people say the area has a different feeling, a different energy to it that is very healing. Guess I’ll just have to experience it for myself, huh? ;)

Yah, I took a trip out to see the Grand Canyon in the early 90′s, and spent a day driving down to Sedona. Utterly gorgeous going down into Sedona from Flagstaff. Fantastic area with alot of artists. I’d been looking for a nativity set for myself for ten years, and found an amazing one there.

    Beautiful pick, Ivy.
We went there about 12 years ago.
We had a flight to Phoenix, AZ., got a car there went through area,it was HOT there!!!!!!,and went to the Grand Canyon for 1 night, 1 night at Flagstaff, 3 days in Sedona and 3 days in Las Vegas.

    I love Sedona!!!!!

WE went there in April and our clothes mostly were cotton, linen and silk…

    Guess what?

It was very windy and cold at Grand Canyon, but beautiful! and in the morning there was literally winter at Grand Canyon.

We woke up in the hotel and our car was covered with snow!… And we drove to the Flagstaff in the wind and snow… It was April 12th, my husband’s birthday.

In Sedona was much warmer :) And it is such beautiful area… I want to go back
    one day.

Yes, your pick is beautiful! Although I live in southern CA now, I grew up in AZ and lived there for 40 years of my life. I’ve been to Sedona many times. It is breathtakingly beautiful…. I remember one year we went up there in the winter and the red rocks were capped with snow!!! It was amazingly awesome to see the red with the white snow caps. A rare but incredible site.
