   Thank you, Alice,Gina and Cathy – I surprised myself by NOT buying any gemstone beads, instead I bought lots of specialty czech glass beads – some teardrops, briolettes and lentils, a few tubes of seed beads, and some lucite flowers!

   gemstone beads are one of my “first loves”, and I am always drawn by gorgeous strands – one of the vendors there had some strands of very high quality beads, center drilled “marquise” (‘eye’ shaped), they were labeled prehnite (but looked like green tourmalinated quartz), with mostly green color, very little black matrix, and such a divine luscious summer green – I said to myself, that would be just one more strand I might buy, that would sit in my bead box…
   And Mary, glad you like this combo, I am trying out other color combos – I am glad I DIDN’T BUY beads in only my “usual” purple colors – I got seed beads that were mostly shades of green to blue/green/aqua, and one tube of frosted rosaline…
   some czech glass briolettes in a lovely warm pink, some gold lustered purple teardrops, some raspberry czech button flowers, some round coin shapes w/ designs in a lovely glowing periwinkle lilac…

   And Laurel and I are planning another bead shopping excursion next month, down to Shipwreck Beads – they have tons of fire polished beads, czech seed beads, and czech pressed glass, plus much more… so gotta be prudent for now, the rest of this month!!

    Thank you Wanda and Lynn – yep, my poor bead wallet (and credit card) is pretty relieved that I didn’t spend all the $$ I brought w/ me – in previous years, I definitely have spent over my alloted limit, often due to seeing some fab gemstone strands –
