    Pineapple, Banana, Apple, green pears, Grapes, Strawberry, Blackberry, Mandarin Oranges… add lemon juice so apples do not turn (2 tbsp) and Orange Juice (2 Tbsp) and 2 cups Vanilla Yogurt. Mix, serve Chilled

    I don’t eat a lot of meat either and no pork at all. I do love fish, though! Tilapia is one of my faves!

    Alas, the cough is still with me. I went back to my dr this past Tuesday and he put me on an inhaler called Advair to help with the inflammation in my bronchial tubes. He said my cough might hang on for up to another month. Sigh. :( That night, I got chills, aches, sore throat, and my cough started getting worse. I joked and told Bob I am never leaving the house again! ;) Oh, and now I have NO VOICE!!! Good grief…..

    Hi All. We just got home from dinner locally and I just discovered the local bead shop. OMG! I am so excited in this small town, what luck. Horray!! I am just delighted. Yipee!!
    Lynn, I have been on Advair Disk 250/50 twice daily 1 inhailation. It has helped my breathing. I have chronic bronchitus so I have a lingering cough constant without it. No steroids in it thank heaven but I can tell when I am too lazy to use it. Before I started it was like an elephant was sitting on my chest. Takes a little while relief is not immediate like with an inhailer but I don’t have to use that anymore. I had to go to a lund specialist and have breathing tests and chest x-rays before they showed me my lung damage. Found out 6 years later chronic bronchitus qualifies to be copd. Draw me a picture. As long as I can breathe I don’t care what it is. LOL

    I also enjoy cooking w/ salmon- I have a great recipe stuffed w/ spinache & rolled (I prefer if it doesnt taste ‘fishy’. I often cook for the fam, and then grill a piece or 2 of fish on the Foreman grill for myself!

    Oh, Rhi & I both have one of those- the purple one? Do you have a nebulizer machine? That sometimes helps when it gets really painful to breathe/ or when I cant lay down because the cough is to bad. (had bad bout 2 winters ago) Dr says you have to wear layers… keep warm, and Rest!!!

    I have had cronic steriod depentant asthma for 17 yrs…finally i got on some of the med of advair and I can tell a big difference..I get my meds from the VA so can’t get everything….I have a breathing machine also…Mommykat Bubbly Chick..I love Salmon but I get sick every time must be the additives..I’ll stick to the fruit salad…LOVE IT!

    Lorrie & Faith — Mine is the purple disc, 250/50 of Advair. I’ve only been on it since Tuesday, so I don’t know how quickly I’m supposed to notice any improvement. Forgot to ask the dr about that. It’s the only thing he has me on right now.

    I tried to do a lot today — cleaning & laundry & now I’m worn out. Bob thinks I tried to do too much too soon. I think I’ll take it easy tomorrow/today. :)

    I also love salmon! We have got to start sharing recipes — I love spinach, too! :D
