K H says:I made gingerbread with an orange buttercream glaze for our dinner. I started with a 100% whole wheat, organic mix which isn’t very sweet, so the organge buttercream made a nice contast. Whole Foods was total bedlam when I went shopping Tuesday night, so I grabbed a few things and headed for the checkout. Given a more peaceful shopping experience I would have purchased real sweet potatoes and made homemade pie.

Liz and I made 3 pies yesterday: pecan, pumpkin, and a (sugar-free jello) chocolate pie for my hubby. Liz wanted us to make an apple pie and a coconut pie too, but I told her 3 was enough for only 5 people. We will be sharing pie w/friends as it is.
