Sophiebug says:Thanks everyone! SCOTUS is the Supreme Court of the United States; I was very unhappy with their recent reversal of the ban on corporate entities being allowed to donate truckloads of money to political campaigns, saying that corporations are just like ordinary folks and are entitled to free speech. They reversed the decision based on the fact that the original ruling banning the donations had 2 justices who happened to dissent from the majority who made the first ruling. This sets a precedent for the SCOTUS to overturn pretty much any other previous ruling that was not a unanimous vote. Why can’t they be fired??? I am now stepping off my soapbox.
