“Scary Loopy Vision”

Description from Vampire Chickie Ravin: Just to explain this pick. I was born completely blind, I was blind till I was 6 years old, in those years I went through 3 experimental surgeries at a Bronx hospital that specialized in that sort of thing. The 3rd surgery, just after my 6th birthday, was conclusive. I'm still legally blind in one eye, I can only see blotches of black, grey, and white out of it, but my other eye is pretty much fine except for far sightedness, the bad eye is near sighted by the way, how's that for wonky! O.o I woke up tonight/this morning, whatever, heh, with what I call loopy vision. You know how your vision gets when you've looked directly at the sun or a light bulb...well, it's something like that, great big splotches and little speckles of bright, BRIGHT, light all through my vision. My hubby is asleep, and sleeping deeply, which he hasn't been able to do lately, so I wont wake him, he needs the rest so badly. I'm just freaking out, I get so scared when something like this that I don't understand, happens. I don't know what it's from, or why it's doing this, and whenever my vision goes weird, all that flashes through my mind is a paralyzing fear of being trapped in the dark again. I think I'm typing ok, I have braille on my keyboard keys. I insisted on getting the specialized keyboard out of sheer paranoid crap. But at times like this, I'm so glad I insisted on getting it. I won't wake Brian up, but being here on LB, with my friends, even if there's hardly anyone here chatting, helps to keep me from panicing, and helps to drive the fear a little further from my mind. Long story short he is in a nursing home for strength building and therapy for 3 weeks. We found out he was being over-medicated. Best thing we ever did.
