Description from J Yee smart chick: this morning was OVERCAST and cool w/ overcast skies, for the first time in a week! So I figure the birds, trees, plants and other "critters" are also feeling relieved. Now we are beginning to get some sunshine w/ blue skies and clouds again, the lovely new Green Girl bird w/ clouds toggle comes to mind... :)

Our temperatures are supposed to drop back to the seventies by this Friday, whew… I would definitely use that lovely bird with clouds toggle as the center of a necklace, maybe a “Y” design or some way as a pendant… also maybe in a lariat…

I can’t believe that only 2 years ago, we had one of the coolest and wettest summers on record. It rained torrentially almost every day. Horrible when you’re trying to drive.
My son just came back from NYC (staying with his dad for the summer) where they’ve had quite a bit of rain.

Cotopaxi Sue, low eighties sounds way hot for your being in the mountains – in north Carolina, right?
I gotta think on how to use that bird clasp effectively – it’s one of those kinds of very special and striking pieces that could be tricky to use in a design – what else to combine along with it so the other beads don’t “compete” for attention with it???

Good thing we all get along. It does get kinda weird, though. Kinda like the twilight zone… BTW, N’s dad is at a conference in Seattle at the moment. I think he’ll be there 1 week.
I definitely want to see what you do with that clasp!

Chicky D, I’m glad to hear you’re all planning to go to NYC for New Year’s, I haven’t decided what I’ll be doing then… I hope our upcoming winter won’t be as bad as the last half of December, where we got several inches of snow due to repeated snow storms… and our City’s transportation crews didn’t handle clearing the streets well at all… people, buses and cars all were severely impacted
