“Simone Has a New Fur Coat”

Description from Little Round Chick: It is a bitterly cold night, the ground is frozen and the clouds are heavy with snow. Simon and Simone are huddled together in their confined space even though the warehouse is a balmy 68 degrees. Simone, as usual, is complaining about their circumstances and her inability to bribe the guards. They refuse to accept her bribes! Simon, however, has a plan to brighten her tomorrow. He has secretly contacted a nameless weasel who has agreed to procure a ermine coat for Simone. It is a luxurious coat, a true masterpiece of the furrier's art. It has black tail tips along the edges of the collar and buttons that are jewel encrusted. The nameless weasel will slip into the warehouse shortly after midnight while the guards are snoozeing the night away. How did Simon manage to contact this weasel? How will the weasel manage to slip into the warehouse undetected? Who will contact the Animal Rights Organization so they can picket the warehouse? Inquiring minds etc, etc, etc.

I’m glad the weasel has to wait until the (hired LB) security guards are asleep. Surely there are no weasels in Lima Beads Hen (I mean Bead) House. But maybe he doesn’t want her to think he’s being cheap and get mad at him. We all know when Simone LaMedusa gets angry things really heat up and Simon turns all, um, stony! Their relationship gets a little rocky! It’s like someone dropped a two ton boulder in the room! Things just rockslide from there!….. um
