“Simone Jumps Bail!”

Description from Little Round Chick: This just in from National Nosy News in Washington DC! Simone LaMedusa, who was recently arrested for smuggling, was granted bail after hocking all of the Mango Pearls! Our ever vigilant reporter, Brave Little Mermaid, was in court when the judge gave his decision. Simone was whisked out of the court room by her lawyer and immediately hustled into a waiting Black Licorice Limo which immediately took off for parts unknown. Brave Little Mermaid, BLM to her friends, had a car waiting close by and gave pursuit. The limo drove around trying to shake the tail then sped off to Dulles Airport. BLM was hot on their trail and followed them to the airport. After she finally found parking she rushed into the terminal just in time to see Simone boarding a plane bound for Arizona. Simone has Jumped Bail! Why is she on the way to Arizona? What's in Arizona besides cactus and sand? Is that her true destination or just a ploy to confuse her pursuers? Does Simon know she has forfeited the Mango Pearls? Our ever Vigilant BLM will give us up-dates as they become available.

Hmmmmmm Arizona? Well, perhaps she has a secret boyfriend stashed away, awaiting her arrival. Or perhaps this was all a ruse and Simone and Simon are meeting up somewhere to run off together with the treasure he has pretended to steal from her! Ah, a life on the run from Interpol — how romantic it may seem at first, but as time passes, will Simone grow weary of the constant moving from small town to small town? Or will her love for Simon cause her to give up everything she’s ever valued? Or might they even be joining the Federal Witness Protection Program?

) Has he doubled back from Death Valley to meet up with Simone? Were Simon and Simone acting the part of a quarrelsome pair in order to confuse the authorities? Is Simone prepared to lose her mango pearls by jumping bail?
Will BLM be able to follow them into the hot and dry Arizona desert? Or will she have to ask Detective AqK for help while she searches for a water source?
In the meantime….this is a seriously lovely pick, LRC! I want it all!
