From the picture I keep thinking they are a stone but then the close up you can tell they are a pearl. If you have used them before does the color hold up? Thanks,

Scunch, the pepper red potato is a pearl. I got them and they are a very deep red, almost a dark dark burgandy. I love the color of them. It’s so rich looking.

Scrunch, I agree with CC Blueroze. The color is even better in person! I was nervous about the “red” part, but she is right in her description of them. I’ve never had any problems with the dyed pearls holding up — the color stays true.
