Vampire Chickie Ravin says:LMAO!!! Omg! Been there, done that! Was chasing down my dog one night after she slipped her collar, she’d stopped, I grabbed her, we BOTH got it full force!
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:09 pm #
J Yee smart chick says:Yikes Dawn, what happened to your poor neighbor when the dogs greeted her?? BTW, very dramatic Pick, love the strong vibrant reds w/ the B/W beads together!!
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:12 pm #
Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Oh No!!!! Glad it wasn’t my dog this time. We use 1 bottle of peroxide, 1/2 cup baking soda, and a few drops of shampoo. shake & use quickly so the bottle doesnt explode. It is the only thing I know that works, and if the dog gets wet, you must do all over again!
Love the pick; Medusa is so perfect!

Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Tomato juice, baking soda and shampoo…….lol it works
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:18 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Well the dogs greeted her, got her full of the wonderful perfume. They raced thru the house and rolled on the carpet. (one got sprayed in the eyes, wiped his face on the bed pillows.
I gave her my quaart bottle of natures miracle. You put it on the dog right away, and let it dry on the dog. Wet them with the stuff as much as you can. As they dry the scent from the skunk dissapates, and Ravin it is safe for people.

Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Hmmm, never heard of it b4, will have to look into it as I have many dogs and there are ALOT of skunks in this area, heh
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:21 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:It tried tomatoe juice and the dogs coat had a pink cast to it. The natures miracle really works. I can’t believe it. Mama skunk got my dog twice in three days. Protecting her babies, we just didn’t know the had them under out concrete stairs.

Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Check out you local pet store, larger chain store usually carry it. $9-10 dollars a bottle, and well worth it. White dogs and tomatoe juice well helped but like I said a pinkish coat, and it is a boy dog. Poor thing.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:25 pm #
Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Oh man…bummer, yah, I know ALL about the pink thing, I was going through a blond phase at the time, dyed my hair black again quick, fast, and in a hurry, lol
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:27 pm #
Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Poor boy….lol
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:27 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:I turned my hair green once. Decided it was best to leave hair coloring to my hair dresser.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:29 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:See Ravin, I am corny too. LOL and I do dumb stuff.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:30 pm #
Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:when I was 17, spent a day outside w/ sun in on my hair- turned me ORANGE! LOL, they had to strip it! :d
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:31 pm #
Vampire Chickie Ravin says:I had green hair a few different times, by choice though, lol
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:33 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:What did you use Lorrie, Sun-in? I remember that stuff. Now the dogs won’t go out cause the skunk smell is still lingering. They remember when they got skunked.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:34 pm #
Vampire Chickie Ravin says:I did the sun in back when I was a teen, turned my naturally almost platinum blonde hair, almost pure white, lol.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:35 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:I used lemon juice, although I had very blonde hair, when it dried your hair was crunch and stiff but it did get lighter.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:37 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Pure white Ravin! Wow I would have like to see that. I did go to school with a boy who was albino and he had red eyes. Funny I would remember that. I haven’t thought of him in years.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:42 pm #
Vampire Chickie Ravin says:My hair was nearly pure white till I hit about 8 or 9, then it started getting a touch of light ashy pale gold in it.
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:50 pm #
J Yee smart chick says:Yikes, the poor dogs, aaauughhh – and all the remedies you all suggest comes from experiences like this one, I can tell! Here’s to keeping dogs skunk free,
On Jun 01, 2010 at 10:55 pm #
Daisy Chick - Dawn says:Yes the poor dogs. The smell lingers. Once is enough if you ask me, but it seems that they just can’t resist chasing things. My Wrigley chases birds, I keep trying to tell him he is a sheep dog not a bird dog. Now atleast he avoids the skunks won’t go out if he smells them.
On Jun 02, 2010 at 1:06 am #
FaeryGoth Chick says:oh, poor doggies! You sure know how to handle it Dawn
