Actually, Sarah burned her hands at work (at lunchtime) on some very hot soup & even had to go to the hospital. She’s off work while they heal.

Debbi aka Sparkle Chick says:Sarah, I burned my hand in November (2nd degree burns) and it did take about 2 1/2 weeks to heal. It still looks a slight bit discolored where it burned the worst, but it has healed completely with no residual problems.
Just give it time and be cautious when you go back to work!

There is a natural remedy for burns that I have found… raw, unfiltered honey…. it is amazing….. Eric was burned badly a couple of years ago… and someone told us of this…. he put the honey on every day and the hurt went away almost immediately, and it healed fast, and with no scarring !!!
We keep it on hand all the time now!!! It is an old Egyptian remedy…. you could look it up online to get more facts !!!
Important… it has to be the raw unfiltered honey, no preservatives…..

Carola says:I don’t know if it helps burns, but for sunburns (let’s think Summer !!!), there is nothing better than aloe.
A friend and I had gone to Aruba, gee, years ago. While I stuck to the shade, I burned too easily, she wanted to tan.
She fell asleep, forgetting to put more lotion on. Redder than a lobster and in pain.
A local person saw her and cut some aloe stems right off the plant.
She never even peeled. Aloe, and not the watered down stuff, is the best for a sunburn.
Hope that may help someone — if they can’t avoid a really bad sunburn.
