Think NOT about the snakes – I am so running out of title ideas….this one was lame and creepy, but it means nothing
I found shedded snake skins in my garden – there out there. It is best that I don’t see them, otherwise I’ll never get off the porch again!

But really, the garden kind are so not dangerous and wouldn’t hurt you even if you picked them up! I loved our snakes in Florida – and we had a lot of ‘em! Even Coral snakes (very venomous, but with teensie little fangs) – the garden snakes came in beautiful colors and patterns (google Ribbon snake) – a joy to look at! Just another part of nature!
Happy – Not to worry, they sense vibrations of your footsteps and scurry away so fast you never know they’re there!

Garden snakes. my brother would pick them up and drape them over his arms. In woods here, we have some ‘bad’ snakes, but just simple garden snakes in the yard – they….. sceeve me out. I still garden – but ew – I just really hope not to run into any. Moved a big planter last year from one side of the patio to the other – I think mom must have layed eggs in the drip pan – it was like a freaking horror movie – all these itty bitty snakes – like medusa was hanging out under there or something…. yeah, if it has to be moved this year, my better half can do it.

Happy Chick aka Harriet says:I finished the gardening w/out seeing any snakes. This is a good thng because we get rattle snakes out here. I even found a baby one in my garage last winter. We think it came in to escape the cold, but my cat got it! Not a big one at all, but still CREEPY! Always have to watch out in our gardens because the snakes come to water. Snakes are OK outside and away from my house.
