The good designers will actually have a background in tailoring. As I’ve been told, they deeessignnn, things like sewing and actually getting the fabric to work are details for the apprentices and tailors to work out. Must be nice, eh?

Little Round Chick says:I’ve watched both The Fashion Show and Project Runway. Personally I think the Fashion Show is a very pale imitation of Project Runway. The host on TFS may very well be a widely recognized designer but he is quite abrasive at times. The overall organization of the show could use a some improvement it is too disjointed. That’s my opinion and you know what they say about opinions…they are like belly buttons…everyone has one.
