Snowdrops are very early spring blooming bulbs which I believe derive their name because they look like snowflakes when they have multiplied into a broad swath across the hill/grass but also because they will bloom in the snow. Lovely creatures with the crocus and a sure sign of spring! The daffys are next …

You have captured a favorite moment of mine when I’d go walking (20 years ago) with my dogs and see the green poking thru and then later on before the leaves were out, these lovely little white flowers would bloom. I always looked forward to them because winter seemed soooooo long. GREAT pick.
