What a beautiful combo, Deb! I love the title, too — snowtwinkles is such a cute word! :D

Well, Lynn, I obviously made it up, but I was thinking about how the snow looks like it’s twinkling under bright star and moon light, and it just kind of popped into my head! Since my grandson makes up workds all the time, I figured I could, too! LOL! ;)

No, workds isn’t another new word…it’s just my fingers running away from me…oops! Maybe if I type more slowly…w o r d! LOL

You are so funny, Deb! LOL

My oldest grandgirl calls green olives (with the pimentos inside) “hot dog olives” — cracks us up every time!!! LOL :D

How clever of your grandgirl Lynn! My girls refered to broccoli as trees. More trees please they would say. Love the pick Deb!

LOL — Love the “trees” comment, Dawn! Very clever of your girls! :D

One time, when Jenna was first learning to talk, I called her “Honey.” She looked at me very seriously and said, “No Honey — I Jenna!” ;)

Thank you Lynn, Dawn, Martha and Donna for your kind comments. You Chicks are wonderful.
I love your grandgirl’s “hot dog olives”…what a hoot! LOL! And I can relate to the “trees”, Dawn, except in reverse. Though he loves them now, my grandson had a total dislike of vegetables when he was about three. He, too, called broccoli “trees”, and since it was a family favorite, my daughter tried everything to get him to eat them. One night she tried using cheese sauce to cover them, and his response to that was that only birdies belonged in trees, not cheese, and he still wasn’t going to eat trees! He also advised her not to put cheese on trees anymore or else she would “drownded” the birdies! As Art Linkletter said “Kids Say the Darndest Things!” ROTFLOL! :D

It really is fun reading each others stories on the various picks! So fun to have other people to share them with! LOL It IS interesting how we start out commenting on the actual pick and then segue onto various other topics!!! :D

Interesting, yes, but so much fun! It’s amazing how much we learn about each other this way! :D

First, I love the pick, and I think Snowtwinkles is a very good word. :D
We live in very flat land, and when my Amy was little, she called overpasses “slide cars”. She said they were slides for cars. ;)

Thank you very much, Harriet! I love the story about Amy…that is just too funny! LOL! :D

I still get a grin over that one. Oil field pump jacks were “up-downs”. She would fuss at me for repeating those old stories, as she is over 30 now. ;)
