Description from Leigh D: Driving back from Memphis we got stuck in the storm of all storms! You know that strange green color that the sky gets - we got to look at that for the last 60 miles of our trip. And the downpour of rain so thick you can barely see - I was so, so happy to get home. The hubs and I have the worst luck on roadtrips with storms!

I know what kind of thunderstorms you are talking about – i was taking a road trip across WY, and in Green River the sky looked like this, like a big wave, and when it hit the highway all one could do was just hang on! Wish I had had the camera because it was just too cool – but after all, i WAS driving…. LOL!

For 2 solid hours we were stuck in this storm – we would have to pull over on the side of the road periodically to switch the driving between him and I!!! Our nerves were completely shot by the time we reached our destination – One thing about TN is there are large stretches of interstate where all there is are cows – no where to pull over and wait out a storm!!!!!
