Sugilite jasper is a natural jasper that has been color enhanced to produce the gorgeous bright pinks and purples of natural Sugilite. Sugilite is a rare and expensive gemstone, and Sugilite Jasper is a very reasonably-priced and equally colorful alternative. The innate variations in the natural Jasper cause different parts of the stone to absorb the color treatment differently, producing a mottled pattern in many shades of vibrant pink and purple.
